Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a skilled General Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in El Paso, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician looking for a consistent, flexible schedule with high earning potential at a reputable acute care facility. Coverage is needed starting July 15, 2026 and is ongoing through December 31, 2026.
Job Details:

Case Types: High-acuity case mix including Complete Ortho, Complex Vascular, Head/Spine, Neuro, OB, and Thoracic surgery. Mostly MD supervising CRNAs with occasional solo work. (No cardiac cases; no requirement for Peds, preemies, or neonates)

Schedule: M-F coverage, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Minimum commitment of 3 weeks per month.

Call: Negotiable and not required. If taken, call is home-based (not in-house) with a 2-hour gratis requirement per contract.

Support: CRNA support staff on-site.

EMR System: Cerner
Requirements:

Board Certification: Board Certified in Anesthesiology required.

State License: Must be licensed in Texas only

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.

Skills: Must be highly comfortable with regional anesthesia, spinal/epidural anesthesia, central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheter placement.
