Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible to join the team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in beautiful Port Charlotte, Florida.
Found along Florida's welcoming Gulf Coast, the rapidly growing city of Port Charlotte is located about halfway between Sarasota and Fort Myers. Port Charlotte has more than 165 miles of waterways, providing access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico, which makes it perfectly positioned to offer every manner of water-borne activities. Seven of the 21 golf courses located in Charlotte County are found in Port Charlotte, and Tippecanoe Environmental Park offers hiking trails and wildlife viewing through 380 acres of scrub and pine flatwoods. Position Highlights
- Care Team Model: 4 General Anesthesiologists, 3 CV Anesthesiologists, and 15 CRNAs
- 10 ORs plus Cath Lab, IR, Endo and 6 NORA sites of service
- Annual volume 7,500 cases (25-30 cases per day)
- Mix of cases including Bread and Butter, Cardiac, Ortho, Neuro. General, Urology, ENT, Bariatric, Vascular, GYN, Thoracic
- No Ob. No Trauma. No Peds
- Must be Regional Block proficient to support robust opioid-sparing and ERAS programs
- Primarily Supervision but should be comfortable doing own cases occasionally
