General Anesthesiologist – Texas (Locums)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts
- Commitment: Minimum 3 weeks/month
- Call: Optional, from home (not in-house)
Role Overview:
- Mostly supervising CRNAs (some solo cases)
- Inpatient hospital setting
- EMR: Cerner
Case Mix:
- Broad general anesthesia (adult-focused)
- Ortho, neuro, OB, vascular, thoracic, regional blocks
- No requirement for cardiac or neonatal cases
- Peds is a plus, not required
What They Want:
- General anesthesiologist comfortable with regional anesthesia
- Strong in lines, blocks, and standard procedures
- Board Certified (required)
Requirements:
- Active Texas license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Other Notes:
- Must be open to travel (no local candidates)
