Contract Length: Ongoing (until permanent staff is recruited)
Schedule:
- 5 × 10-hour shifts per week
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call Required: No
Clinical Details
- Setting: Hospital – Level I Trauma Center (High-acuity tertiary referral center)
- Bed Size: ~500 adult beds (including ~100 ICU beds)
- Designations: NCI-Designated Cancer Center; Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Supervision Model: Medical Direction
- 80–90% supervision
- 10–20% solo cases
- Responsibilities: Supervision of CRNAs; possible supervision of residents
- Patient Population: Adult
- Case Mix: Broad adult anes across high-acuity cases
- Excluded Cases: No Cardiac, No OB
- Support Staff: Anes technicians available
- Post-Op Care: Patients transferred to PACU or ICU
- EMR: Epic
