A healthcare system is seeking Anesthesiologists for locum tenens coverage across multiple sites with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

$410/hr

Position Details

Positions Needed: 6

Schedule

4–5 days per week

Shifts typically 8–10 hours

Minimum 40 hours per week expected

No call required

Must be able to work at least 2 weeks per month

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical cases

Work across multiple sites including high acuity inpatient settings and ambulatory centers

Case mix includes:

General anesthesia cases

Occasional regional anesthesia

No cardiac, liver, or neuro cases

Practice Environment

Providers will be floated across multiple sites

Work includes:

High acuity inpatient cases (ASA 3+ preferred)

Outpatient surgical procedures

Primarily working solo in the OR, with occasional CRNA supervision

Support staff includes CRNAs

Patient Population

Adolescents (13+) and adults

EMR: Epic

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days

Requirements

Board Certified in Anesthesiology (or truly Board Eligible) – required

California license – required

DEA (California, Schedule II) – required

BLS (AHA) – required

Minimum 2 years of anesthesiology experience – required

Recent experience in inpatient and outpatient surgical cases – required

Experience working solo – required

Recent experience at tertiary care centers – required

Additional Notes

Providers must be comfortable covering both inpatient and outpatient settings

Regional anesthesia experience preferred

Trauma experience preferred

Must provide 2 references for review prior to offer
