HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join the established team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson Florida.
This is a high acuity program within a Level II Trauma Center offering a diverse case mix, strong team support, and a structured schedule.
Position Highlights
- Anesthesia care team with 9 anesthesiologists including 3 cardiac and 7 general and 22 CRNAs
- Coverage includes 12 ORs plus EP Lab Cath Lab and Endoscopy
- Approximately 9000 annual cases
- Broad case mix including trauma cardiac ortho endoscopy neuro spine vascular bariatric and robotics
- No pediatrics and no obstetrics
- Supervision ratio of one anesthesiologist to four CRNAs
Schedule and Call
- Monday through Friday schedule 7a to 5p
- General call one in seven in house from 3p to 7a
- Post call day off
- One 24 hour Saturday and one 24 hour Sunday call per month
- Approximately 7 calls per month per physician
- Additional call shifts compensated separately
- CRNAs provide 24 hour in house coverage
