Anesthesiology Medical Director Opportunity | Leadership Role | 50K Start Bonus | Tampa Bay Area

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to serve as Facility Medical Director at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity Florida.

This is a leadership opportunity within a growing program that offers strong administrative support, an expanded staffing model, and a collaborative culture focused on quality and physician engagement.

Position Overview

• The Medical Director partners with operations hospital leadership and APP leadership to guide the anesthesia program
• Focus on clinical quality patient outcomes team engagement and operational efficiency
• Responsible for fostering a collaborative work environment and maintaining high standards of care
• Previous leadership experience required

Position Highlights

• Anesthesia care team with 8 anesthesiologists and 26 anesthesiologist assistants
• Coverage across 12 sites of service
• Medical direction of anesthesiologist assistants
• Case mix includes general surgery ortho endoscopy gynecology vascular obstetrics electrophysiology and spine
• No trauma and no cardiac

Schedule and Call

• Average work week of 40 to 50 hours
• In house overnight call one in eight from 3p to 7a
• Post call day off
• Dedicated overnight APP coverage for obstetrics from 8p to 8a
• 3 person overnight team on a rotating schedule
