Job description
A regional medical center is seeking a Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist to support its growing surgical and cardiovascular program. This position is focused on cardiac anesthesia coverage, working alongside a collaborative anesthesia care team in a hospital setting with consistent surgical volume.
This opportunity is ideal for anesthesiologists experienced in cardiac cases and intraoperative TEE, looking for a stable locum assignment within a well established anesthesia program.
Job Responsibilities
Perform intraoperative TEE interpretation and management during cardiac procedures.
Conduct pre anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthesia plans, and manage intraoperative and post anesthesia care.
Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, CRNAs, and surgical teams to support complex cardiac cases.
Participate in scheduled shifts and call coverage supporting cardiac, trauma, and operating room services.

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Call)
Weekend coverage:
24 hour call coverage from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
This structure supports both scheduled surgical coverage and cardiac case needs.
