Practice Details
Sanford Health and Black Hills Surgical Hospital are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our surgical practice in Rapid City, SD.
- The team is comprised of two Anesthesiologists and twenty-two CRNAs to cover eleven operating rooms in a care team supervision approach.
- Duties would include a robust regional practice shared between the anesthetists and anesthesiologists, with a devoted Block Nurse running the latest GE ultrasound units, reaching approximately 6000 blocks per year.
- Oversight of the pre- and post-anesthesia care units and ensuring patients are properly cleared for surgery in conjunction with a pre-anesthesia testing clinic.
- Collaboration with surgeons and nursing alike on complicated patients, ensuring safe anesthetic delivery.
- Our practice offers a great work-life balance with flexible shifts and minimal weekend engagement.
- Call is 1:14 with CRNA first call.
