A large medical center in Los Angeles, California is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment with the possibility of extension. This opportunity offers schedule flexibility, no call requirements, and a broad case mix in a high-volume surgical environment.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: 3–6 months with option to extend

• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Shift Options: Flexible shifts available including 8, 10, 12, and 24-hour options

• Call: No call required

Practice Setting

• Large 496-bed medical center

• 25+ operating rooms

• Collaborative anesthesia team with minimal CRNA supervision

Case Mix
Providers will perform general anesthesia for a variety of cases including:

• General surgery

• Colorectal surgery

• Healthy pediatrics

• Endocrine procedures

• Oncology cases

• Vascular and endovascular procedures

• Obstetrics (labor epidurals)

• Gastroenterology procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Credentialing Timeline

• Approximately 90 days
