Position Overview
A busy anesthesia group in the St. Louis metro area is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for locum coverage across both a hospital and affiliated ambulatory surgery center.
Practice Model

Supervision Model (MD & CRNA)

Staffing Ratio: 2 MD : 9 APC
-
8 anesthetizing rooms
-
Average 29 cases per day

EMR: Epic
Schedule
-
Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Call Structure
-
Weeknight home call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
-
CRNA support during call
Board Requirements
-
ABA or AOBA
-
Board Certified
Required Qualifications
-
Active or eligible Missouri medical license
-
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
-
Experience supervising CRNAs
-
Experience in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center environments
Preferred Qualifications

Prior locum anesthesiology experience

Experience with Epic EMR
-
Experience managing high-volume anesthesia programs
