Full-Time Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Florida

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a full-time opportunity at a high-volume acute care facility in South Florida. This is an ongoing need for a physician able to commit to a consistent, full-time schedule. Candidate must reside out of state for this particular opportunity.

📍 Position Highlights

• Full-Time Only – No PRN coverage
• Must be available to work every week of the month (minimum 4 weeks/month)
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts or Five 10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)
• Plus beeper call
• Supervision model: 80% supervision / 20% own cases
• Ongoing assignment

🏥 Practice Environment

• Care Team Model:
  • 26 CRNAs
  • 12 MDs
• Average Monthly Case Volume: 1,150–1,200 cases
• OB Deliveries: ~200 per month
• Dedicated cardiac team handles all cardiac cases

Case Mix Includes:

• General Surgery, ortho, GI, Robotics, OB, Radiology
• Endoscopy, Ophtho, Plastics, ENT, Neuro
• No trauma

EMR: EPIC

📅 Start & Credentialing

• Providers able to start in April highly preferred
• Must be able to start no later than May 1
• Credentialing timeline: Approximately 120 days
• No expedited credentialing available

📋 Mandatory Requirements

Candidates must meet ALL of the following:

• Active Florida Medical License
• Board Certified
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Must reside outside of Florida
• Must have fewer than 5 affiliations
• Must have 100% clean background (no clinical, legal, or pending cases)
• Must provide 24 months of case logs within 5 days of credentialing approval
