Full time
A Board Eligible or Board Certified Anesthesiology Nocturnist is sought to join a busy, well-established anesthesiology practice serving a multi-hospital system in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York. This not-for-profit, community-focused health system is dedicated to improving the health of the populations it serves through comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective care.
Practice Overview
* Join a large anesthesiology team consisting of 14 physicians and 20 CRNAs
* Provide coverage at two acute care hospitals, including a Level II Trauma Center
* Additional opportunities available for extra shifts at an affiliated community hospital
* Broad case mix including general anesthesia and light cardiac cases
* Call schedule of approximately 1:4, with resident rotation support
Compensation and Benefits
* Competitive annual salary of $675,000
* $50,000 sign-on bonus
* Excellent benefits package, including a pension and defined benefit plan
* Eligibility for partnership after two years, with an associated salary increase
Academic Environment
* Teaching hospital environment with affiliations to regional academic medical centers
* Participation in residency and fellowship training programs, collectively training more than 100 physicians annually

Qualifications
* Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
* Eligible for medical licensure in the state of New York Estimated pay range/amount is $362k to $611k.
