Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our distinguished teams at Piedmont Newnan, Atlanta, Macon, Fayette, Augusta, Rockdale and Henry Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have experience in general anesthesia and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care within a collaborative and innovative clinical environment. *Applicants at all experience levels are encouraged to apply.


This position is open to new graduates who demonstrate a commitment to learning, professional growth, and delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative team environment.

Position Highlights & Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
• Supervise and collaborate with Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
• Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements:
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
