This facility is part of St. Peter's Health Partners, a comprehensive healthcare network serving the Capital Region of New York. The hospital features 8 operating rooms with state-of-the-art equipment and uses Epic EMR system, providing excellent technological support for medical professionals.
Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
• Full-time position starting as soon as credentialed • Hospital-based practice setting • Mix of own cases and CRNA supervision with 1:3/4 MD:CRNA ratio • Case mix includes orthopedics, urology, eyes, and endoscopy procedures • Patient demographic primarily geriatric with pediatric cases limited to dental and eyes • Required procedures include spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia • Must be comfortable supervising CRNAs • Night call from 7p-7a and weekend beeper call from 7a-7a • Board Certification required • Active NY State License required • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required • Must be available to work at least two weeks per month • Must be located outside of a 60-mile radius • Self-Query NPDB report required at submission (must be pulled within the same month) • Facility will reimburse for flight, hotel, and rental car
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
