General Anesthesiology locums opportunity in Charleston, WV with a large hospital system and consistent OR volume.
This is a hospital-based float pool role covering CAMC General Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Ideal for anesthesiologists comfortable with a flexible environment and supervising CRNAs.

Schedule & Coverage

Typical start time: 7am

Mix of 8s, 10s, and occasional 12s (12s not guaranteed)

Released incrementally as OR volume decreases

No guaranteed call, but call-back and 24-hour call opportunities available
Compensation
-
$400/hour standard
-
$500/hour overtime
-
Call-back and 24-hour call rates available (details upon request)

Travel handled separately
Clinical Scope
-
Adult patient population
-
Full spectrum of surgical procedures
-
Kidney transplant only (no liver or heart transplants)
-
Must be willing to supervise CRNAs
Requirements

Board Certified Anesthesiology
-
Active West Virginia license required
-
DEA + CSR required
-
Minimum 2 years experience
-
Experience with Peds, OB, and/or Cardiac strongly preferred
-
ACLS and BLS required
This role is best suited for experienced anesthesiologists who enjoy variety, flexibility, and long-term locums assignments.
