A leading medical center in Ocean County, New Jersey is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist. This position offers guaranteed hours and no on-call responsibilities.
About the Opportunity
Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- No on-call requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for surgical cases including:
- Pediatric dental
- General surgery
- Orthopedic
- Urology
- Work independently on solo cases in a physician-only model
- Maintain in-house presence during scheduled hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), even if no cases are scheduled until call team arrives
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Available to start January 2026 and commit to a 3-month assignment
- Ability to manage less than 150 cases per month
- Comfortable working without CRNA support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Eligible for emergency privileges through the medical staff office
