Overview:
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking full-time BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join our academic, Columbia-affiliated health system in scenic Central New York. Enjoy a flexible, collaborative work environment with a competitive compensation package and unmatched quality of life.
Job Responsibilities
• 💵 $600K Total Compensation
• 🎓 $60K Residency Stipend (18 months pre-graduation)
• 💰 Up to $200K Sign-On Bonus
• 🌴 10+ Weeks PTO (with 2 weeks convertible to CME)
• 🏥 Columbia University Affiliation
• 🌄 Live in or commute from Albany, Syracuse, Utica, or Binghamton
Position Details:
• Join a team of ~16 anesthesiologists + 25 CRNAs
• 1:2 care team model; solo opportunities also available
• Diverse case mix and patient population
• 3–4 calls/month with post-call day off
• Nocturnist support = fewer overnight shifts
• Teaching opportunities with SRNAs and residents
• EPIC EMR | Group-employed model
• J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available
Qualifications
• MD, DO, or MBBS
• BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• NYS Medical License (or eligible)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & DEA
Working Hours
• $600K total comp package
• Up to $200K sign-on bonus
• $60K residency stipend
