A renowned healthcare facility in Plattsburgh, is currently seeking an Anesthesiologist for its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional looking to join a dynamic medical setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site required.
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 7a-3:30p with on-call requirements
- Schedule: Includes weekdays and weekend home call.
- Hours: Expectation to reach the hospital within 20 minutes during call hours.
Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center
Responsibilities:
The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for:
- Function as the primary anesthesiologist
- Performing regional anesthesia for orthopedic and GS cases.
- Administering spinal/epidural for OB cases.
- Managing central and arterial lines.
- Conducting airway procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).
- Licensed to practice in New York with capability for quick credentialing.
- Certifications: ACLS required.
Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in managing anesthesia tech teams.
