Overview:
A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join a well-established and collaborative anesthesia team. The practice includes board-certified anesthesiologists, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), and Anesthesiology Assistants (AAs), all committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 6:30 AM; typically ends between 3–4 PM (40-hour work week)

Call Schedule: 1-in-8 home call rotation Monday–Friday; no weekend call required

Case Mix: Bread-and-butter general anesthesiology (nerve blocks, A-lines, epidurals, etc.); no cardiac or neurosurgery cases

Volume: 40–50 cases per day across 10 operative sites (including 2 endoscopy suites and 2 OB rooms)

Technology: Modern anesthesia equipment including Mindray machines, new ultrasounds, Glidescope for emergency airways, and Belmont rapid infusers

Requirements

Completion (or upcoming completion) of an Anesthesiology Residency

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

(If eligible, must obtain certification within 5 years)
