START DATE: ASAP | As soon as credentialed (90-120 days)
ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing coverage needs
SCHEDULE: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts | Includes weekday and weekend coverage | On-call required for OB (in-house and remote)
WORKSITE SETTING: Hospital | Inpatient
SCOPE OF WORK: Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical cases including OB, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, GI, and more. MDs will medically direct CRNAs and personally perform anesthesia for select cases.

- Inpatient: 2,671 | Outpatient: 4,116 | OB: 1,181
- Endoscopy: 3,565 | Peds: 1,536
- Ortho: General (501 IP, 154 OP), Spine (25 IP, 9 OP), Joints (139 IP, 56 OP)
- Neuro: 511 IP, 351 OP | ENT: 97 IP, 356 OP
- GYN: 175 IP, 891 OP | Pain Mgmt: 804 OP
- Support: Full anesthesia team with MDs and CRNAs; subspecialty coverage for OB, Peds, Bariatrics
Job Responsibilities
GI, ENT, Gen Surg, Gyn, Neuro, Ophth, Maxillo, Gen Ortho, Spine, Total Joints, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Vascular, Pain, Thoracic/Rad Onc, OB, Endo, Peds
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Attend required orientation and EMR training
- Complete documentation in EPIC
- Participate in hospital meetings as needed
Qualifications
Working Hours
Weekdays:
7:00a–3:00p: 3 MDs
3:00p–5:00p: 2 MDs
5:00p–7:00p: 1 MD
7:00p–7:00a: 1 MD (In-house call)
Weekends:
7:00a–5:00p: 1 MD
Skills
- Medically direct CRNAs
- Personally perform anesthesia for select cases
- OB coverage including labor epidurals
- Participate in call rotations
- Supervise and collaborate with anesthesia care team
