Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist Opportunity | Indiana

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for locum coverage at a leading regional hospital in central Indiana.

Position Highlights

• $400/hour.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Call: No night call, no weekend call
• Start Date: Must attend in-person orientation within 2 weeks prior to first scheduled week

Case Mix Includes

• Healthy pediatrics (down to 6 months of age)
• Major vascular/interventional vascular (including AAA repair)
• Cardiac Cath lab cases
• OB
• Trauma
• Regional anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks

Available Weeks in 2026

We require a minimum commitment of 10–12 weeks to proceed with credentialing. Available weeks include:

• Feb 2–6, 23-27
• Mar 16–20, 23-27
• Mar 30–Apr 3
• Apr 13–17, Apr 27 – May 1
• May 18–22, May 26–29 (No Memorial Day)
• Jun 1–5, Jun 22–26
• Jun 29–Jul 3, Jul 20–24, Jul 27–31
• Aug 31–Sept 4, Sept 21–25
• Oct 12–16, Oct 19–23
• Nov 23–25 (No Thanksgiving 26 & 27)
• Dec 14–18
• Dec 21–23 (No Christmas Eve or Day)
• Dec 28–31 (No New Year’s Day)
