Job description
St. Joseph Healthcare—a proud member of Covenant Health—is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join our collegial, mission-driven team in Bangor, Maine. This full-time role is based at our modern, 80-bed acute care hospital, supporting 6 Operating Rooms and 4 Endoscopy Suites with a diverse and rewarding case mix.
Practice Highlights
- Balanced lifestyle: 1:6 call rotation
- 85 days off per year (41 days of PTO and 44 post call weekdays off)

Case variety:
• 40% Orthopedics
• 30% General Surgery
• 30% mix of Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Gynecology -
No Cardiothoracic, Trauma, or Obstetrics cases

Collaborative model: 50/50 split between direct patient care and medical direction of highly skilled CRNAs
