Indiana Hospital seeks Anesthesiologist for locums coverage.

SMART Locums is actively recruiting for a locum Anesthesiologist to provide coverage for a client of ours in Indiana.

Qualifications:

• Active IN License
  
• Certifications-ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA (AHA ACLS and PALS Required)
  
• ACLS must be AHA, 350 case logs in the past 12 months, MD reference required, Provider must enroll in INPCF
  

• Credentialing Time Frame:60-90 days
• Coverage: December needs now and for 2026
• Shift Schedule: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-7am Call
• Call Schedule/Rotation: 3 weeknights per month, potential for more if wanted
• Supervision Model: no supervision
• Type of Cases Required: High-Acuity Cases - Mostly General, endo**, ortho, urology, high-risk OB (including VBACs), GYN, Cancer, Liver. Some Vascular, ENT, Radiology with Anesthesia, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, very light Cardiac (TEE, lungs and major vascular). **Endo is mainly at the ASC – close to 2100 cases per year Blocks: bread and butter blocks, interscalene, supraclavicular, axillary, adductor popliteal & TAPS
• Required proficient in blocks, epidurals, and Spinals. Case logs required
• 6 CRNAs, 5 MDs Daily, 1 provider on post call day off from first call – 10 providers working per day. 8 providers at main hospital with 2 providers in late room and 2 in ASC
• EMR: Medaxion
• Additional Details: Must be AHA Certified. High Case volume, All providers work their own cases, HIgh-Risk OB, 1300 births per year, In-House call provider will have an anesthesia only call room. South Bend Airport is closest
