Locum Anesthesiologist Opportunity: Join a Thriving Multispecialty Group in central Illinois !

Are you a Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist looking for a rewarding locum opportunity? Join our established and expanding multispecialty group a Level I Trauma Center in Urbana, IL! We're seeking committed professionals to provide essential anesthesia services to our diverse patient population.

Position Highlights:

• Practice Type: Group, Multispecialty
• Location: Urbana, IL
• Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday day shift (6:30am-4:30pm), full-time.
  • Must be available for full-week blocks, with a minimum of one week per month, preferably two or more.
  • 24-hour in-house weekend shifts available.
  • Starting as soon as credentialed, ongoing assignment.
• Patient Population: Mix of Adult and Geriatric patients. Dedicated pediatric anesthesia coverage onsite.
• Case Load: Average 15 cases per day.
• Support Staff: 13 MDs, 60+ CRNAs.
• Procedures: Standard general anesthesia scope, including nerve blocks and epidurals. CRNA supervision (1:4 ratio, experienced team). Main OR coverage.
• Reason for Need: Growing patient volumes, anesthesiologist opening.
• EMR: EPIC.

Requirements:

• MD or DO.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Illinois license or IMLC LOQ.
• Active IL DEA.
• BLS (AHA).
• Must provide vaccination records, negative drug screening, and complete physical within 90 days of start date.
• Must provide professional headshot and complete online training modules.

Hospital Information:

• 489 beds.
• Level I Trauma Center.
• Credentialing time approximately 90 days.
