- Coverage Needed:
- July 16, 2024 - ongoing
- 5x10s per week
- If taking weekday in-house call, the following day is post call
- In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am
- Plus a 24 -hour regular weekend shift, Saturday 7am - Sunday 7am
- Clinical Information:
- Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA
- Number of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000
- Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP
- MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice
- Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab,
- No OB or transplants
- Cardiac Case Load: With TAVRs, mitral clips, CABG, etc.: 10-12/week. 40-50/month: EP, watchman: 80/month
- MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases
- EMR: Medaxion (for anesthesia charting)
- Meditech for orders & reviewing patient records
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Active FL License
- Must be board certified or board eligible
