## Anesthesiologist | Quad Cities, IL & IA Illinois/Iowa Border Region — Private Practice Partnership Salary Range: $500,000–$650,000 ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent private practice position — immediate partnership upon joining * Schedule: Rotational system — hospital weeks (normal working hours with home call) and surgery center weeks (normal working hours, no call); post-call days off guaranteed * Autonomy: 8–12 weeks of vacation typical — immediate partnership; 1099 structure with flexible time off * Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — primary 150-bed Level II Trauma Center plus multiple surgery centers including GI, ophthalmology, urology, and plastic surgery * All MD/DO group — 1099 structure ## Practice Overview Seeking a BC Anesthesiologist to join a well-established private practice group of 13 board-certified anesthesiologists across the Quad Cities: * Rotational system alternating between hospital and surgery center coverage * Hospital: General surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, obstetrics, vascular, plastics, and urology — mixture of inpatient and outpatient * Surgery centers: GI, ophthalmology, urology, and plastic surgery — all outpatient * Very little pediatrics or trauma — no cardiac or neuro cranial cases * Call structure: On-call and back-up call approximately 2–3 times per month during hospital rotation weeks only — no call during surgery center weeks * Weekend call: Every 6 weekends (on-call Saturday and back-up Sunday or vice versa) * Surgery center rotation weeks are entirely call-free * Immediate partnership upon joining — all-MD/DO group ## Compensation & Benefits * Compensation range: $500,000–$650,000 (1099 structure) * Immediate partnership * Flexible vacation — most partners take 8–12 weeks annually * Group healthcare insurance * Malpractice insurance * Disability insurance ## Required Qualifications * MD or DO — Board Certified in Anesthesiology — required * Iowa and Illinois medical licenses or willingness to obtain ## About the Community – Quad Cities, Illinois & Iowa * One of the four Quad Cities communities straddling the Illinois/Iowa border along the Mississippi River * Vibrant regional hub with a diverse economy including manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, and technology * Home to John Deere World Headquarters — rich industrial heritage * Affordable cost of living with excellent schools and family-friendly neighborhoods * Abundant outdoor recreation along the Mississippi River including boating, fishing, and cycling * Arts and entertainment scene including the iWireless Center and Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra * John Deere Classic PGA Tour event and Bix 7 road race — world-class community events * Quad Cities International Airport offering convenient regional connections * Easy access to Chicago — approximately 3 hours east
