Good Evening,
Currently have a need for Anesthesiology in California.
Rate: 350 Hourly
◊ Vaccination Requirement: Required
◊ Specialty: Anesthesiologist
◊ Dates of Coverage: ASAP – 6 months with option to extend, as needed
◊ Setting: Hospital
◊ Daily Responsibilities: General Anesthesia - General surgery, Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, possibly small bit of Neuro but not likely. No OB or Cardiac. Facility does employ CRNA’s as well - candidates should be comfortable with the rare occurrence of needing to assist
◊ Shifts/Schedule Expectations: Monday – Saturday – 2 OR’s – 6:30a-4:30p
◊ Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call
◊ PPD/Census: Depends on area designated but generally 4-6 cases per shift
◊ Number of Providers Per Shift & Support Staff: Multiple other Anesthesiologist & CRNAs providing coverage – Possible but little CRNA oversight, if any
◊ EMR: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser Permanente’s version of EPIC)
◊ Certifications required/accepted: Board Certified
◊ Credentialing Time frame – Are temps available: No Temps – Timeline is 12 weeks from the time application is submitted as target start but could start sooner depending on how quickly credentialing is completed
◊ Will a licensing candidate be considered : No – California License required
◊ Job Type (daily or hourly and inclusive or non-inclusive): Hourly Non-Inclusive
◊ Housing/Travel Accommodations (what is allowable & any budgets): Prefer local candidates – If travel needed Full Travel/Lodging – Round trip coach air fare, economy car rental, lodging under approved budget
◊ Credentialing Timeframe: 12 weeks upon completed application
