Locum Anesthesiologist | New York

Details:

  • Location: New York - Finger Lakes Region
  • Duration: April – ongoing | Locum coverage 3-4 months (option to extend)
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred, 2-4 weeks per month
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 10 hr. preferred (may consider 8 or 12 hr. shifts) + Required call
  • Weeknight call: 7p-7a, depending on schedule that day. Call 1:4-1:6
  • Weekend call: Fri 7p-Sat 7a, Sat-Sun 7a-7a, 24 hr. call shifts
  • 1st call: On-site - Provider does not leave hospital until all epidurals are removed.
  • 2nd call: Not onsite. Low call volume on weekends
  • Scope: General Anesthesia, OB, Epidurals, routine regional blocks
  • Patient volume: Day shifts average 5-7 per day
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Hospital: Acute Care Hospital, Non Trauma, 193 beds. 5-7 open OR’s.
  • Group: 1-2 Anes MD/DO. CRNAs available to assist. Locum MD/DO not responsible for overseeing CRNA’s.
  • Require: BC/BE, NY License/DEA
  • Credentialing timeline: 45-60 days
