I’m the regional medical director for Sound Anesthesia in Texas and I’ve been a part of Sound for three years. I’m excited to share that we have a per diem physician opportunity in San Antonio, TX at the University Hospital – Robert B Green Campus. Let me tell you a bit more about our team and the work we do — specifically about our people, practice, and purpose — as you consider your options:

People

• We’re a closely-knit, established team of 1 physician and 3 CRNAs.
• Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.
• At its core, San Antonio is rich in culture and adventure. The population is diverse, making the city stand out as the 4th friendliest city in the country.

Practice

• The surgery center offers state-of-the-art equipment, stable nursing staff, private pre-op rooms, and an interesting scope of practice in an outpatient setting.
• Our teams cover general, podiatry, IR, endo, and urology (including some peds urology).
• We run up to 3 points of service per day.
• This is a Monday – Friday, quality-of-life practice offering no call, nights, weekends, or holidays.
• 1099 compensation paid at an hourly rate. We are looking for a physician to cover our full-time physician’s vacation coverage. This position will be based on the physician’s time off.
• Sound provides comprehensive malpractice insurance with tail coverage, ensuring you are fully protected.
