One of our clients in Iowa needs assistance with an Anesthesiology locum tenens coverage. Here are some of the details.
- Location: Near Cedar Rapids, IA.
- Facility: 366-bed Hospital, 13 operating rooms
- Setting: Outpatient, using EPIC
- Schedule: Weekday coverage, some weekends possible, night call coverage
- Practice Details: Daily volume 30-50 cased for the entire department. Evaluate/monitor patient care before and after surgery, OB-yes, Pediatrics-yes mostly tonsils and adenoids. Conscious sedation is required.
- Required Procedures: General surgical adult and pediatric cases. No neonatal. Minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal, epidural, OB, Neuro is basic bread and butter with 95% spine. Thoracic and vascular some thoracoscopy maybe ab fistula but no aorta surgeries and no complicated vascular or complex orthopedic.
- Certifications/ License: must be IA licensed or IMLC, ACLS, NRP, and Board Certified (Required), COVID-19 Vaccine (REQUIRED).
