This Pediatric Anesthesia Locum Tenens position is located in East Georgia
Location: Near Augusta (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: January start for 3 months with potential to extend
Reason for coverage: 2 perm physicians out on FMLA
Schedule: 4 weeks/month – Full-time required for consideration (3-4 days/week)
Shift: Mon-Fri, 7a-5p
Call: N/a
Weekends: N/a
Patient volume: 5-8 cases per day
Scope: MDA Ped - 100% pediatric cases, can be flexible based on the candidate's scope. MD Supervised model with 1-2 CRNAs
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: 520 bed level 1
Group/support: Anesthesia Care Team Model, supervising CRNAs and residents. Ped MDAs supervise 1-2 CRNAs
Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified with GA license and GA DEA highly preferred due to delays with IMLC and new GA DEAs (6-8 week timeline)
Rates: Fair market.
Selling points: Experience with L1 Trauma and high acuity/complex cases
