Aya Locums is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a children's hospital in San Antonio, Texas. This position offers a dedicated pediatric case mix, personally performed anesthesia, and a consistent overnight schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Employment Type: Locum Tenens / 1099
Schedule: Overnight coverage
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Call: Optional
Practice Setting: Children's Hospital
Patient Population: Pediatric patients exclusively
Coverage Location: Single facility
Anesthesia Model: Personally administered anesthesia
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
ACGME-accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship required
Active and unrestricted Texas medical license required
Must be eligible to obtain a Texas DEA prior to starting
Facility is not able to license for this assignment

Providers should be comfortable independently managing pediatric anesthesia cases.
