Job description
Pediatric Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist to provide locums coverage in a high acuity pediatric program at a children’s hospital located in Central Illinois. Please see the details below:
- Start August 2026 and ongoing
- $548/hour, $1,280/night Call, $2,200/24 hour Call
- Will accept candidates needing IL license
- Minimum 1 year experience required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS required
- Estimated 20 shifts per month available
- Weekday coverage 7a-3:30p possibly 5p and Weeknight Call
- Weekend coverage: 24-hour Call anticipating being onsite around 4 hours
- Providers available for 5-7 day blocks preferred
- Full support staff available
- Travel, lodging, malpractice insurance provided
Provider must be comfortable performing the full scope of pediatric anesthesiology, including pediatric general anesthesia cases, pediatric cardiac anesthesia, congenital heart surgery cases, cardiopulmonary bypass (“pump”) cases, cardiac catheterization lab procedures, and additional pediatric surgical and procedural anesthesia as needed.
