Job Title: Pediatric Endocrinologist
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Department: Pediatric Specialty Care
Reports To: Chief Medical Officer / Pediatric Medical Director

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert care to children and adolescents with endocrine disorders in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving pediatric health outcomes and committed to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders in pediatric patients, including diabetes, growth abnormalities, thyroid conditions, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and puberty-related issues.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing care and education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, dietitians, diabetes educators, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, outpatient clinics, and telemedicine consultations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (if desired).
  • Participate in call coverage and departmental meetings.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based care and continuous learning.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with insulin pump therapy and CGM technology.
  • Experience in a hospital or academic setting is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
