Hours & Schedule: Monday through Friday
Work Environment: Clinical setting with exposure to medical procedures and patient care activities
Salary / Hourly Rate: $350,000 – $500,000 annually
Bonus Offered: Performance-based bonus available

Job Summary:
Under indirect supervision, the Interventional Pain Physician provides comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and procedural care for patients experiencing acute or chronic pain conditions. This role involves performing interventional pain procedures, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications when appropriate, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for pain-related conditions
- Perform interventional pain procedures and other clinically appropriate treatments
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic regimens as medically indicated
- Refer patients to specialists or additional care services when appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing staff and support personnel to coordinate patient care
- Supervise and provide guidance to medical fellows, residents, or clinical trainees when applicable
- Participate in health education, prevention, and patient wellness initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes
- Follow all departmental policies, safety standards, quality improvement initiatives, and infection control protocols
- Assist in overseeing clinical workflow or specialty program activities as needed
- Perform additional duties related to patient care and clinical operations as assigned
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited residency in a relevant medical specialty
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable specialty
- Valid state medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Arizona
- Federal DEA registration
- Minimum of three years of experience related to pain management or interventional procedures preferred
- Strong knowledge of pain management treatment modalities and procedural techniques
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary care team
