Job description
The largest anesthesia group in New York's Capital Region is seeking full-time BC/BE Cardiac Anesthesiologists to support a high-volume inpatient heart center that recently added three cardiac surgeons.
Practice Details:
• High-volume heart center with 30 ORs; 6–8 cardiac cases per day
• Cases primarily cardiac and vascular – no OB or trauma
• Variable 8-, 10- and 12-hour shifts
• Call 1:5 with first call every 8th night, no second call
• No CRNA supervision required
• Coverage across two hospital campuses in the area
Compensation & Benefits:
• $650,000 per year starting compensation (plus productivity and quality incentives)
• $100,000 sign-on bonus
• Relocation reimbursement based on distance
• Health, dental, vision; paid malpractice with tail
• CME time and allowance; paid time off; retirement

Job Responsibilities
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care
• Provide general and regional anesthesia for vascular and other cases
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and the perioperative team
• Contribute to anesthesia protocol development
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (within 5 years of eligibility)
• Echo board certified and/or cardiac anesthesia fellowship-trained (fellowship highly preferred)
• New York license (or willing to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS and PALS by start
• Willing to cover two hospital campuses
• H-1B considered; no J-1 waivers; not open to locums
