Cardiac Anesthesiology Locums Job in Tennessee | 10, 12 & 24 Hour Shifts | Beginning January 4, 2027 - Ongoing | Assignment #117905

Coverage Details
-- Coverage dates: January 4, 2027 – December 31, 2027
-- Staffing need: 2 providers needed
-- Credentialing time frame: 60 days (Emergency privileges available under 30 days; Temporary privileges available 30–60 days)

Shift Details
-- PRN schedule only (10-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour shifts)
-- Call coverage: Beeper call (weeknight/weekend call & potential holiday call)
-- Overtime: No overtime expected

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship required
-- Active TEE Certification required
-- Experience: 3+ years of CV experience post-fellowship preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
-- Cardiac and General Anesthesia care
-- Complex cardiac cases (Ventricular Assist Devices, Impella Device, ECMO, Heart Transplants, CABG, Valves, TAVR)
-- Complex vascular surgery, thoracic stents, TCAR, and robotic lung surgery

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient / Hospital (8 Anesthesia Rooms)
-- Staffing model: MDs supervise CRNAs (1:4 to 1:5 ratio) + MDs perform own cases (both medical direction and solo coverage models used depending on daily volume)
-- General cases: Available depending on daily CV case volume
-- EMR: Epic
