Cardiac anesthesiology locums at a Level I trauma center in Omaha, NE, covering open heart, thoracic, vascular and structural heart cases, with general cases as needed. Pay is $416.25 per hour, $3,382.50 per 24-hour call period (which includes 4 hours gratis) and $975.00 per night call (which includes 2.5 hours gratis). Callback beyond the gratis hours is $416.25 per hour, and callback averages 2 to 3 hours on weekdays and 1 to 2 hours on weekends. The site does 360 to 450 cardiac cases a year with 2 cardiac surgeons, and cases are hands on, with occasional CRNA supervision. Adult and geriatric patients only, no pediatrics. Epic EMR. Start as soon as credentialing allows, which runs about 60 to 90 days.
