We are seeking a qualified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in York, PA. Join an experienced team of surgeons and specialty clinicians at a 593-bed, Level I Trauma Center providing high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse range of surgical and procedural services.
This opportunity offers exposure to complex cases, a broad patient population, and a cardiac anesthesia focus. The schedule includes 10-hour day shifts with overnight beeper call on designated days, followed by a post-call day off.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with surgeons, specialty clinicians, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered anesthesia services.
• Support a broad range of surgical and procedural cases.
• Care for patients across all age groups in a complex hospital environment.
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Two years of experience preferred
Working Hours
• Overnight Call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM beeper call, as scheduled
• Post-Call Benefit: Off the following day after overnight call
• Call Frequency: Approximately 3 call shifts per week

November 2026: 6, 13, 14, 15, 16*, 17, 18*, 19, 20, 21*, 22*, 24*, 27
December 2026: 4, 12, 13, 18, 19*, 20, 24
