Med Ninjas is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility in Albany, NY

The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date

Permanent Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Variable 8, 10, 12-hour shifts + On Call
Start Date: Upon credentialing
End Date: Permanent

Position Details:
Patient Population: Primarily adult and geriatric, with some pediatric patients
Setting: High-volume inpatient heart center; St. Peter's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital campuses
Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia care for cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and complex cardiac surgeries; pre-operative evaluations; post-operative care; collaboration with cardiac surgeons and healthcare professionals; contribute to anesthesia protocols and practices
Required Procedures: Cardiac and vascular anesthesia; CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgical procedures
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Cardiac surgeons, physicians, CRNAs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals; CRNA supervision not required
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: 1:5 call rotation with first call every eighth night; no second call

Submission Requirements:

• Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained
• NY License or willing to obtain
• BLS, ACLS, PALS by start date
