The Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine seeks fellowship-trained cardiac anesthesiologists, to join our expanding comprehensive cardiovascular program that includes complex adult cardiac surgery, structural heart procedures, mechanical circulatory support, and a growing thoracic surgery service, with anticipated lung transplantation.
We seek physicians with:
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology
- Advanced perioperative TEE expertise (NBE certification or eligibility preferred)
- Interest in multidisciplinary cardiovascular care
- Passion for resident and medical student education
- Commitment to academic growth and clinical excellence
- Candidates without formal fellowship training who possess substantial cardiac anesthesia experience and advanced TEE proficiency are encouraged to apply.
