Job description
We are seeking experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologists for a full-time locum opportunity in Missouri, beginning October 2026. This assignment offers the flexibility to provide full-time onsite coverage with call, onsite coverage only, or call coverage only. Physicians must have extensive cardiac anesthesia experience and be comfortable with complex cardiac and aortic surgery, TEE interpretation, and medical direction.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Onsite: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Weeknight Call: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM–Monday 7:00 AM

Clinical Responsibilities
- Complex cardiac anesthesia
- Complex aortic surgery
- Open-heart cases
- Cardiac cases
- Vascular cases
- Liver cases
- TEE interpretation
- Night and weekend cardiac/vascular call
- Medical direction of CRNAs, Anesthesiologist Assistants, and residents

Requirements
- MD or DO only
- Board Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship OR at least 5 years of extensive cardiac experience
- Extensive cardiac anesthesia experience required
- Must be comfortable with complex cardiac and aortic surgery
- Must be proficient in TEE interpretation
- Active Missouri medical license strongly preferred
- IMLC may be considered if Missouri licensure is already in process
- DEA required
- BLS & ACLS required
Credentialing
- Approximately 45–60 days

A Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist with extensive experience managing complex cardiac, open-heart, aortic, and vascular cases who is proficient in TEE interpretation and comfortable medically directing CRNAs, AAs, and residents. The facility has flexibility to consider physicians seeking full-time onsite coverage, onsite plus call, or dedicated call coverage, making this a strong option for candidates with varying availability.
