We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in a Level I Trauma hospital. The physician will provide anesthesia care across cardiac and other complex surgical and procedural services while working alongside surgeons and specialty clinicians.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia services in a hospital setting.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas.
• Manage patients across all age groups.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and specialty clinicians.
• Provide coverage based on daily anesthetizing room assignments.
• Participate in night beeper call approximately 1–2 nights per week.
• Manage diverse and complex patient populations in a Level I Trauma environment.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Cardiac Anesthesiology experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania license required, or IMLC Letter of Qualification.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• DEA not required.
• Must be comfortable participating in night beeper call.
• Teaching hospital experience is not specifically required.

Working Hours

Standard Day Shift Options:

• 6:15 AM–4:45 PM
• 6:30 AM–4:30 PM
• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 4–5 ten-hour shifts per week
• Full-time coverage preferred
• Providers available for approximately 3 weeks/month may also be considered
• Potentially 1 week/month coverage may be considered
• Night beeper call approximately 1–2 nights per week
