Job description
• We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-acuity, Level I Trauma hospital in York, PA.
• This role offers exposure to a diverse and complex case mix in a large, well-equipped facility.
• Work alongside experienced surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality perioperative care.
• Flexible scheduling options with full-time or week-by-week coverage available.
• No call required, supporting a balanced work schedule.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative teams across multiple specialties
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and ensure optimal outcomes
• Manage preoperative assessments and postoperative care planning
• Adapt to varying anesthetizing locations and case complexities
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License (Required)
• ACLS and PALS Certifications (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience in cardiac anesthesia required
• Clean credentialing file for expedited processing (temps available with approval)
Working Hours
• 10-hour shifts (varied start times):
• 6:15 AM – 4:45 PM
• 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday to Friday
• No call required
• Start Date: May 10, 2026 (ongoing contract)
