Job description
The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services in a high-acuity hospital setting, working alongside surgeons and specialty teams. This role involves delivering patient-centered care across a wide range of surgical procedures, including complex cardiac cases, in a Level I Trauma center environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage anesthesia plans based on patient needs and procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation and patient safety compliance
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania license (or willing to obtain)
• ACLS & PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
Working Hours
• 4–5 shifts per week
• 10-hour shifts (varies: 6:15–4:45, 6:30–4:30, 7:00–5:00)
• No call required
Skills
• Ability to manage complex surgical and trauma cases
• Excellent patient monitoring and critical care skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
