This Allergy & Immunology Locum Tenens position is located in California
Location: Southern California (Inquire for specific location)
Duration: January through April 2027 (slight potential to extend)
Schedule: Full-time (May consider part-time like 3 days per week, or 3 weeks per month if in close proximity)
Shift: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Call: none
Patient volume: TBD
Patients: 80% Adults, 20% Peds with growing pediatric population in area
Scope: Allergy and Immunology
Accelerated Immunotherapy (including both Rush & Cluster), Comprehensive Management of Asthma including biologics, Oral Food Challenges and Peanut OIT, Oral Drug Challenges, Penicillin and Drug Allergy Testing, Venom Testing and Venom Immunotherapy, Full Use of Biologic Agents, supporting patients on IVIG with immunodeficiency
EMR: Epic
Hospital: 463 general beds, no trauma designation
Group: 2 other A/I doctors
Collaborative relationships with Pulmonary, ENT, Dermatology, Rheumatology, and GI
Requirements (boards, license): Board certified in Allergy Immunology (willing to consider a truly board eligible provider) with a California license, CA DEA, and COVID vaccine
