The director will have full responsibility to develop and supervise clinical practices as part of the PCOM southern regional educational mission. Prior experience in supervision of clinical practices, regulatory practice concerns, recruiting and managing physicians and staff needed. Board certification (preferably in primary care) and ability to practice required. Prior experience in medical education valued.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Supervise all existing and new clinical practices to assure efficiency and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Work closely with PCOM HR/Compliance/legal/medical directors and other relevant depts to maintain operations of clinical services
- Develop new clinical practices/service delivery models c/w the strategic plans of PCOM.
- Supervise the operations of each clinical practice site to include recruitment, performance management, budget development and supervision.
- Develop shared practice opportunities with academic partners/hospitals and other delivery systems.
- Maintain a clinical practice integrated within a PCOM practice site.
- Teach best practices/practice management to Osteopathic medical students/residents
Position Requirements:
Education:
- DO or MD
Experience:
- Prior experience in supervisory role in practice management.
Certifications, Registrations, Licenses:
- Current Osteopathic/Medical Board certification in specialty.
- Active unrestricted Georgia Medical license.
- Active unrestricted DEA license.
