Position Overview:
Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Miami Valley Hospital are seeking a full-time OB Laborist with a strong interest in academic medicine. This faculty role combines inpatient obstetric care with the teaching and supervision of medical students and residents in a high-volume, Level III perinatal center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 obstetric care coverage in a rotating nocturnist schedule
- Manage triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Participate in resident and medical student education (rounds, lectures, case discussions)
- Contribute to clinical, academic, and research missions of the department
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for Ohio medical licensure
- Academic and teaching experience preferred
- Strong interest in evidence-based, patient-centered care
