Clinical Director – Residential Substance Use Treatment
Location: Jessieville, Arkansas 71949
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 annually, based on education and experience
Population: Adult Men
Setting: Faith-Based Residential Addiction Recovery
NorTek Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Clinical Director to lead the clinical operations of a structured residential substance-use disorder treatment program serving adult men in Jessieville, Arkansas.
This is a senior clinical leadership opportunity for a behavioral-health professional with direct residential SUD treatment experience and a strong understanding of clinical quality, staff supervision, treatment planning, documentation, regulatory compliance, and CARF accreditation requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Direct daily clinical operations within a residential SUD treatment program
Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate clinical staff
Oversee assessments, treatment plans, progress reviews, discharge planning, and continuity of care
Provide clinical direction for complex cases, crises, behavioral concerns, relapse, and treatment barriers
Ensure treatment addresses substance use, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma, relapse risk, and recovery goals
Maintain clinical documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
Conduct or oversee chart audits, utilization reviews, corrective-action plans, and quality-improvement activities
Maintain readiness for CARF surveys, licensing inspections, state reviews, and payer audits
Collaborate with executive leadership, medical providers, operations, families, referral sources, and community providers
Support evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented treatment
Help develop clinical policies, procedures, training initiatives, and performance standards
Support transitions between residential, outpatient, and community-based recovery services
Integrate evidence-based treatment with the organization's Christian recovery mission and servant-leadership values
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Addiction Studies, or closely related clinical discipline
Active, unrestricted Arkansas behavioral-health license or clear eligibility for required Arkansas licensure
Direct professional experience in residential substance-use disorder treatment
Previous clinical leadership or supervisory experience in residential addiction or behavioral-health treatment
Experience supervising and developing clinical employees
Working knowledge of CARF standards and their application in residential treatment
Experience overseeing clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, documentation, progress reviews, and discharge planning
Strong knowledge of SUD, relapse prevention, and co-occurring mental-health conditions
Experience with regulatory compliance, QA, chart audits, and corrective-action planning
Ability to work full-time on-site in Jessieville, Arkansas
Willingness to support a Christian, faith-based recovery mission
Preferred Qualifications
Arkansas LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist, addiction professional, or other independently licensed behavioral-health credential
Previous Clinical Director, Director of Clinical Services, Residential Program Director, or Clinical Supervisor experience
CARF survey/accreditation experience
ASAM knowledge and experience across multiple SUD levels of care
Experience treating adult men in residential recovery
Experience with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and dual-diagnosis treatment
Faith-based, nonprofit, or mission-centered leadership experience
Doctoral degree in a behavioral-health discipline
Critical Screening Requirement
Candidates with strong outpatient, hospital, community mental-health, or general behavioral-health leadership experience but without direct residential SUD treatment experience will not meet the central requirement of this position.
Compensation & Benefits
$75,000–$85,000 annually, based on education and experience.
